Brotherhood of MUGS
The purpose of our men’s ministry is… To encourage and equip every man through the
transforming power of God’s Word!
Brotherhood signifies "togetherness" and MUGS is the acronym for "Men Under God's
Service." MUGS is a community of men of all ages who together are seeking God's
direction for their lives, supporting one another, becoming spiritual leaders, and
learning the joy that comes with serving our Lord.
Our Mission is focused on five key purposes:
Spiritual Growth - Placing a lifelong priority on the study of God’s Word
in order that we might be “workman who are not ashamed and who know how to properly
handle the Word of God. (2 Tim. 2:15)
Encouragement - Supporting one another as we walk God's path
Fellowship
– Gathering together for the soul purpose of enjoying one another’s company.
Empowerment – Accepting the biblical challenge to grow as servant leaders
by using our spiritual gifts, talents and passions to advance the Kingdom of God
at home and in the community.
Evangelism – Sharing the good news about Jesus Christ, his shed blood, resurrection
and soon return with those who are lost.
