Community Christian Fellowship was founded in September, 1999 by nine families and
the founding pastor Dick Wright and his family. For the first three weeks the church
met in a private home and then located to the New Baltimore Fire Hall for the next
three and a half years.
For a year, CCF searched for suitable buildings to rent as the church was growing,
but none were available in the area that God was calling us to minister. So, the
decision was made to build a facility. This was quite a challenge as CCF is an independent
church, not affiliated with any denomination.
We believed that God was directing us to build our own church facility. So we committed
our path to the Lord, and our heavenly Father provided generous contributions through
the people of CCF, and the bank financing that we needed to purchase land and build
the current facility. How we praise God.
We are now in a beautiful facility that God provided for us! In April of 2003, CCF
moved into our new church facility. Since moving into our new facility, we have
grown threefold.
Our goals are simple. We believe that Community Christian Fellowship exists to preach
the saving gospel of Jesus, to make disciples of the people that God sends us through
solid Bible teaching, and to love those people as Jesus loves them. We believe that
God deserves our praise and worship, as we strive and to do so both in our worship
service and in living out our praise and worship through our obedience to Him and
giving of ourselves to others.
The history of Community Christian Fellowship is not over. We invite all people
to join us as we continue to strive toward pleasing our Savior, and make a real
difference in our region and around the world.
